Hey, my name's Katelyn
Osteraas. I've been riding for almost 8 years at
Turn Crest. I have a dapple gray Quarter Horse named
Silver Slippers, but at the barn we call her Sylvia.
I bought her in August, 2007. We ride huntseat, but
we are also trying to learn western and showmanship.
We also ride some dressage. We just started
4-H, and I can't wait for the fair! This summer, I
hope to take my horse to a couple of rated shows
this summer.
I don't play any other
sports. I decided to devote my whole life to my
horse. But I love to go shopping, hang out with my
friends, go to the movie theater, and listen to
music. I live with my mom, dad, sister, and our dog,
Lizzie.
My mom also rides
Sylvia. She decided I shouldn't get to live out my
childhood dream if she couldnt live out hers(owning
a horse). She loves it.
